Job Summary
We are seeking a Databricks Developer with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spark in Scala Databricks Unity Catalog Admin Databricks CLI Apache Airflow Amazon S3 Amazon Redshift Python Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. The candidate should also have domain experience in Customer Loyalty Management. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark in Scala and Databricks CLI to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
- Administer Databricks Unity Catalog to manage and secure data assets effectively.
- Utilize Apache Airflow to orchestrate complex workflows and automate data tasks.
- Implement data storage solutions using Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Write and optimize Python scripts to support various data processing tasks.
- Leverage Databricks SQL to perform data analysis and generate insights for business stakeholders.
- Manage and optimize Databricks Delta Lake to ensure data consistency and performance.
- Design and implement Databricks Workflows to streamline data operations and improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain PySpark applications to process large datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices and performing regular audits.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Qualifications
- Must have experience with Spark in Scala Databricks Unity Catalog Admin Databricks CLI Apache Airflow Amazon S3 Amazon Redshift Python Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark.
- Must have domain experience in Customer Loyalty Management.
- Nice to have experience with other data engineering tools and technologies.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technologies.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
