Banking & Financial Services Consulting
Cognizant’s Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Consulting team is seeking talented consultants with business analysis and digital change delivery experience to work with our ecosystem of clients, alliances, start-ups, and design agencies to deliver the next generation of banking products and experiences. This role provides an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, high energy and entrepreneurial team working with leading Europe based clients.
Location: Amsterdam
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Risk & Finance domain within in Banking & Financial Services space focused on Europe
- Domain SME with a sound overall understanding risk management for banks
- Deep understanding of Credit risk, its calculation in banks and reporting especially within the European regulatory framework
- Exposure to major risk use cases like securitisations, and also market risk
- Exposure to Dutch banking system including Dutch Mortgages
- Understanding of how data impacts risk
- Well versed with regulations around this domain in Europe
- A good understanding of how technology enables risk management and associated reporting
- Proficiency or hands on experience one or more applications/products serving banks in their Risk & Finance area is a plus
- Consulting mindset – where abstract problems can be explored to produce concrete deliverables and presentations. Ability to apply a customer centric approach to the definition of minimum viable propositions, and guide teams to deliver required outcomes.
- Success in collaborating with not only team members but also all stakeholders involving senior management for communication, risk management involving program roadmap.

Industry Experience:
Direct experience of working in Risk & Finance through a bank, fintech or industry aligned consulting, agency or software vendor experience.
