UI Developer
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified UI Developer with 5+ years’ experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Abbott Park, Illinois, US

Roles/Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
· Implement clean, efficient and reusable UI components following best practices
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring wireframes and design prototypes to life
· Collaborate with customers to understand their expectations and implement it
· Debug and trouble shoot front-end bugs
· Optimize front-end performance using best practices
· Participating in SDLC processes
Required Qualifications:
· Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
· Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
· Good Communication and stakeholder management skills
· Should be able to collaborate with UI/UX team and project team members
· Exposure to Angular and ReactJS is nice to have
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 55,578- $92,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
