Job Summary
Sr Product Specialist T will design enhance and support Mendix based applications by configuring secure scalable solutions and integrating REST API services while working in a hybrid day shift model The role focuses on delivering reliable low code platforms that streamline insurance related processes improve customer outcomes and support enterprise digital transformation with strong ownership of Mendix security and performance tuning
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Mendix application designs that deliver measurable process efficiency improvements for enterprise clients
- Develop Mendix solutions that are modular scalable and maintainable by configuring domain models microflows and pages to support complex transactional workflows for business users
- Implement and optimize Mendix REST API integrations to securely exchange data with internal and external systems ensuring high availability data accuracy and reduced manual interventions
- Configure and manage Mendix security settings including user roles navigation profiles and entity access rules to enforce strong governance and compliance across applications
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot Mendix runtime issues by analyzing logs refining microflows and optimizing queries to maintain stable and responsive systems
- Coordinate with testers and stakeholders to validate Mendix features perform systematic defect analysis and support smooth deployments into production environments
- Document solution designs configuration decisions and integration patterns in a structured manner so that teams can reliably maintain and extend Mendix applications over time
- Support business stakeholders during requirement walkthroughs and demos by explaining Mendix capabilities and recommending practical design options that align with enterprise standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting reusable Mendix components automation ideas and best practices that reduce development time and enhance solution quality
- Align daily work with the hybrid model expectations by collaborating effectively through digital channels and attending onsite sessions as needed to keep delivery milestones on track
- Apply domain understanding of life and annuities insurance when available to design Mendix features that accurately reflect policy administration claims handling and customer servicing processes
- Ensure that Mendix solutions adhere to organizational security privacy and compliance guidelines so that applications protect customer data and support long term trust in digital services
- Support knowledge sharing within the product team by explaining Mendix patterns REST API usage and security configurations so that collective capability grows over project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in Mendix application development including configuration of microflows domain models pages and data validation for complex business scenarios
- Show deep practical experience in designing and implementing Mendix REST API integrations with robust error handling authentication mechanisms and performance conscious data exchanges
- Exhibit solid proficiency in Mendix security concepts such as role based access entity level constraints and secure navigation setups to safeguard sensitive enterprise and customer data
- Bring at least four to eight years of overall professional experience with a substantial focus on Mendix projects that involve end to end solution delivery in enterprise environments
- Display familiarity with agile or iterative delivery approaches that emphasize incremental releases continuous feedback and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders
- Utilize any exposure to life and annuities insurance to shape requirements data models and workflows so that Mendix applications reflect real world insurance operations and metrics
- Communicate clearly with product owners architects and testers to ensure shared understanding of Mendix features integration behaviors and security implications throughout the delivery cycle
Certifications Required
Mendix Advanced Developer certification or equivalent Mendix professional credential preferred

$92,000-$118,00 per year + Cost of Living Allowance
