Job Summary
Sr Software Engineer B3 contributes to complex enterprise applications built with Java Spring Boot microservices and React Js deployed on AWS in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on designing scalable solutions improving performance and reliability and mentoring peers while delivering secure maintainable software that supports business growth and societal digital innovation.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable Java microservices with Spring Boot that support high throughput business workflows while maintaining strong reliability and resilient error handling.Develop responsive and accessible React Js interfaces that deliver intuitive user journeys and enhance customer satisfaction across web platforms.Integrate backend microservices with front end components using efficient APIs to ensure secure data exchange and consistent performance across environments.Optimize application performance on AWS by tuning services storage and networking configurations to achieve cost effective and stable cloud operations.Apply secure coding practices across Java and React Js applications to protect customer data and align with enterprise security and compliance standards.Collaborate with product and architecture teams to translate requirements into technical designs that balance maintainability scalability and delivery timelines.Automate build test and deployment workflows using continuous integration and continuous delivery practices to reduce release risk and improve deployment frequency.Troubleshoot complex production issues across microservices databases and front end layers to restore service quickly and prevent recurring incidents.Review code from peers to uphold engineering standards improve code quality and support a culture of continuous technical improvement.Document technical designs APIs and configuration details to ensure clear knowledge sharing and sustainable long term maintenance of systems.Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to plan and deliver features that align with business goals and generate measurable value for customers and society through efficient digital services.Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in Java React Js microservices and AWS to build team capability and strengthen overall delivery quality.Contribute to modernization initiatives by refactoring legacy components into microservice based architectures that improve agility and ease of future enhancements.
Qualifications
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with extensive experience designing and delivering production grade microservices for enterprise systems.Show deep hands on experience with React Js including state management component design and building performant single page applications.Apply practical AWS expertise across core services such as compute storage and networking to deploy and support cloud native applications securely.Bring solid understanding of RESTful APIs integration patterns and data serialization to connect distributed services efficiently.Exhibit experience with unit testing integration testing and automation frameworks that improve code reliability and support continuous delivery.Display familiarity with hybrid work practices and remote collaboration tools enabling effective teamwork across locations and time zones.Present knowledge of modern software engineering principles including clean code design patterns and refactoring to maintain long term system health.Utilize experience with monitoring logging and alerting tools to observe system behavior and drive proactive performance improvements.
