Salesforce Technical Lead
About the role
As a Salesforce Tech Lead, you will make an impact by leading Salesforce platform development, integration, and solution delivery while ensuring scalable, high-quality implementations aligned with business requirements. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to drive successful Salesforce initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Salesforce Service Cloud development and configuration initiatives to support business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce components to extend Salesforce capabilities based on business needs.
- Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs with enterprise applications and external systems.
- Ensure high-quality software engineering practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to define and deliver scalable Salesforce architecture and integration solutions.
- Support REST and SOAP web service integrations utilizing JSON and XML data formats.
- Leverage strong relational database knowledge to develop efficient and reliable Salesforce solutions.

What you need to have to be considered
- Strong experience with Salesforce.com architecture and platform capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce Service Cloud development and implementation.
- Expertise in Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Unit Testing.
- Experience integrating Salesforce.com with enterprise applications using Salesforce APIs.
- Strong experience with API integration and web services technologies including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce solutions and integrations.

Salary and Other Compensation
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $78,000p.a. - $125,000p.a. CAD. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work experience, and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
