Open Text Exstream Business Analyst

Serve as a business analyst with Open Text expertise for a global organization in a hybrid day shift role designing and optimizing scalable customer communication solutions that improve client experience reduce operational risk and support efficient business processes without the need for travel responsibilities.

Location: Hybrid Role in Columbus, GA

Experience: 6+ Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000/Year to $140,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

1. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for CCM implementations using OpenText Exstream and Quadient.

2. Translate business needs into functional specifications for Exstream templates, document workflows, and output management processes.

3. Conduct gap analysis and support migration from legacy CCM platforms (e.g., Quadient to OpenText Exstream).

4. Define and review test cases, coordinate UAT, and validate that delivered communications meet business expectations.

5. Liaise between business stakeholders and technical development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Analyze and map multiple input data formats; document section data mapping for complex communications.

7. Support end-user training and change management activities related to CCM platform transitions.

8. Assist in defining the CCM roadmap and contribute to continuous improvement and governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications-

1. 6+ years of IT experience with 4+ years as a BA in CCM projects; OpenText Exstream is Primary and Quadient is Secondary skillset.

2. Strong understanding of CCM platforms – OpenText Exstream preferred; Quadient Inspire knowledge is an advantage.

3. Experience gathering requirements and authoring functional/technical specifications for document composition and output management.

4. Familiarity with Exstream modules (Design Manager, Designer, Empower Editor, Content Author) from a functional/business perspective.

5. Experience in data mapping, template design, and communication workflows for high-volume output environments.

6. Prior experience supporting CCM migration or version upgrade projects in enterprise environments.
