Cognizant is seeking an Autosys Admin and Developer for a full-time opportunity. This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must be worked in the US. Qualified candidates must have valid US work authorization. Cognizant will not offer visa sponsorships now or anytime in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance by using observability tools and dashboards to detect issues early and reduce service interruptions for critical business processes
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks by creating reusable scripts and tools that streamline environment provisioning configuration management and application deployment
- Collaborate with application and data teams to define nonfunctional requirements such as scalability reliability and security for Generative AI enabled solutions
- Analyze incidents and recurring production issues to identify root causes and propose infrastructure enhancements that minimize future disruptions and improve service levels
- Optimize capacity planning by reviewing usage trends for Generative AI workloads and AutoSys CA schedules to improve cost efficiency and avoid performance bottlenecks
- Coordinate infrastructure changes and release activities with cross functional teams to ensure smooth deployments and minimal impact on business stakeholders in a no travel model
- Document infrastructure architectures operational procedures and support runbooks in clear and reusable formats to improve knowledge sharing across the engineering organization
- Provide advanced technical guidance to peers on effective ways to integrate Generative AI services with existing infrastructure and scheduling tools without introducing operational risk
- Engage with business partners to translate Life and Annuities Insurance requirements into technical infrastructure designs that improve user experience and operational reliability
Qualifications
- Possess 6-7, years of experience in infrastructure engineering or devops roles with a focus on large scale enterprise environments in hybrid work models.
- Demonstrate strong hands on experience configuring and managing AutoSys CA workloads including job design job dependencies calendars and failure handling strategies
- Apply practical knowledge of Generative AI platforms including model hosting inferencing pipelines and integration patterns within secure enterprise environments
- Exhibit understanding of networking storage compute virtualization and containerization concepts to build scalable and maintainable infrastructure foundations
- Utilize scripting or automation tools such as shell scripting python or similar technologies to create repeatable deployment and configuration workflows
- Show familiarity with monitoring logging and alerting solutions to maintain visibility into infrastructure health and ensure timely response to incidents
- Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders by explaining infrastructure options risks and tradeoffs in clear and concise language
- Adhere to organizational standards for security compliance and documentation while contributing to continuous improvement of infrastructure practices and engineering quality
The salary range for this role is between $91,000 and $107,000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 7/30/2026.
