Job Summary
This hybrid day shift role is for a senior software engineer with seven to ten years of experience in JavaScript and React Native who will design and deliver microservices based mobile and web solutions on AWS. The engineer will focus on IT business support platforms ensuring high reliability usability and scalability that improve operational efficiency and create meaningful value for enterprise customers and society.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable microservices based applications using advanced JavaScript and React Native to support critical IT business support functions and improve operational efficiency across the enterprise.
- Implement high quality front end features and reusable components using JavaScript ES5 and ES6 standards to deliver intuitive user experiences that help business teams perform daily activities more effectively.
- Integrate backend microservices with mobile and web interfaces to enable smooth data flows between IT support systems and business applications ensuring consistent and reliable information access for all stakeholders.
- Optimize application performance on AWS hosted environments by tuning code configurations and resource utilization so that IT business support solutions remain responsive under varying workloads.
- Collaborate with product owners and IT operations teams to translate complex IT business support requirements into well structured technical designs that align with organizational goals and improve service delivery.
- Review and enhance existing JavaScript and React Native codebases to reduce defects improve maintainability and extend functionality in ways that directly enhance user experience and business continuity.
- Apply secure coding practices and implement appropriate controls within JavaScript and microservices solutions to protect sensitive operational data and uphold company commitments to safety and trust.
- Coordinate with quality engineering and support teams to define test strategies for IT business support features ensuring robust validation and smooth incident resolution for end users.
- Document technical designs implementation details and support procedures for JavaScript and microservices solutions so that IT teams can troubleshoot issues quickly and maintain high service levels.
- Provide guidance to peers on effective use of advanced JavaScript and React Native patterns fostering a culture of engineering excellence that strengthens company capabilities and industry reputation.
- Analyze production issues in AWS hosted environments and implement durable fixes in JavaScript and microservices code to minimize downtime and protect business operations from disruption.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new tools and practices in the JavaScript and cloud ecosystem helping the company adopt innovations that benefit customers and society.
- Engage with cross functional partners in IT business support to prioritize backlog items and deliver incremental enhancements that make daily workflows more streamlined and productive.
Qualifications
- Possess seven to ten years of professional experience in software engineering with deep hands on expertise in JavaScript including ES5 and ES6 and advanced JavaScript concepts applied to complex business solutions.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in React Native for building and maintaining mobile applications that interface with IT business support platforms and microservices based backends.
- Show proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures that run on AWS and support scalable resilient IT business support systems for enterprise environments.
- Exhibit solid understanding of AWS services relevant to application hosting and integration such as compute storage networking and monitoring used to support secure and reliable deployments.
- Bring practical background in IT business support domains including exposure to ticketing workflows service management processes and operational dashboards that guide solution design.
- Display competence in collaborative software development practices including version control code review and agile delivery methods that sustain high quality engineering outcomes.
- Prefer exposure to other modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries that complement React Native and microservices solutions and broaden the ability to solve diverse business challenges.
- Value clear communication and structured documentation skills that help cross functional IT and business teams understand system behavior and make informed decisions.
