About the Role
As a Consulting Manager, Healthcare Enterprise Business Analyst, you will make an impact by leading business analysis and transformation initiatives across healthcare payer enrollment, billing, producer management, and finance operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor between business and technology teams, translating complex operational requirements into scalable solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, business performance, and member experiences.
You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, operations leaders, product owners, technology teams, finance partners, and clients to deliver enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, process modeling, and solution design activities across enrollment, billing, producer management, commissions, and finance functions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to optimize enrollment processes, producer commission calculations, book of business management, and operational workflows while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Analyze upstream and downstream business impacts across enrollment, billing, call center operations, claims processing, utilization management (UM), utilization review (UR), and related payer functions.
- Develop business cases, process flows, functional requirements, user stories, testing strategies, and implementation recommendations to support enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with technology, operations, finance, and business teams to support system modernization, regulatory compliance initiatives, and operational excellence programs.

What You Must Have to Be Considered
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Enterprise Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Consultant supporting healthcare payer organizations.
- Deep expertise in healthcare payer enrollment, billing, producer/broker operations, commissions, book of business management, and financial processes.
- Strong experience eliciting and documenting business requirements, facilitating workshops, creating process flows, and supporting testing and implementation activities.
- Experience working on enterprise transformation, modernization, regulatory, or operational improvement initiatives within healthcare payer environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence business and technology teams.
These Will Help You Succeed
- Experience supporting healthcare payer organizations in the Washington and Alaska Individual Market.
- Strong understanding of claims adjudication, contact center operations, utilization management (UM), and utilization review (UR) processes and their interactions with enrollment and billing functions.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation, platform modernization, or digital healthcare initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and operational processes affecting enrollment, billing, and financial systems.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across business operations, technology delivery, finance, and healthcare administration.

Compensation
$110,000 - $129,500 annually
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
