AI-First Engineer – Oracle SCM & Supply Chain Applications

Position Summary

We are seeking an AI-First Engineer who consistently leverages Artificial Intelligence across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment and production support. This role is focused on transforming Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications through AI-enabled engineering practices that improve delivery speed, quality, automation, and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated success using AI technologies to accelerate software development, optimize testing, modernize applications, automate operational processes, and improve overall engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Software Engineering Across the SDLC

• Apply AI technologies throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Drive AI-powered modernization and continuous improvement initiatives across Oracle SCM applications.
• Champion AI-enabled development practices to improve engineering efficiency, scalability, and quality.

AI-Assisted Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

• Utilize AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, process maps, and SCM functional specifications.
• Generate technical designs, impact assessments, effort estimates, traceability matrices, and solution alternatives using AI-enabled workflows.
• Accelerate fit-gap analysis and Oracle Cloud quarterly release impact assessments through AI-driven insights.
• Leverage AI-based knowledge discovery and analysis to reduce solution design cycle times.

AI-Powered Development & Code Modernization

• Use tools such as GitHub Copilot, Oracle Code Assist, ChatGPT, Claude, and Agentic AI frameworks to accelerate development activities.
• Implement AI-assisted code generation, optimization, refactoring, reverse engineering, and legacy modernization.
• Develop and enhance Oracle SCM customizations, integrations, extensions, reports, and automation solutions.
• Automate API development, integration mapping, report generation, and technical documentation using AI-driven approaches.
• Support development across technologies including:
  • PL/SQL
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • Groovy
  • Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Oracle APEX

AI-Enabled Testing & Quality Engineering

• Design and implement AI-powered testing strategies covering:
  • Functional Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Performance Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Utilize AI for automated test case generation, test data creation, defect detection, and test maintenance.
• Build AI-assisted regression testing frameworks for Oracle Cloud quarterly release validation.
• Leverage AI tools for defect triage, root cause analysis, and predictive quality insights.

AI-Driven DevOps & Production Support

• Integrate AI-powered code reviews, security assessments, static code analysis, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate deployment documentation, release notes, implementation guides, and operational runbooks using AI tools.
• Support deployment automation, environment management, and release readiness assessments through AI-enabled practices.
• Utilize AI-powered monitoring and analytics for operational support, issue prediction, and business impact analysis.

• Compensation & Benefits

• $104,000– $150,000 per year + Cost of Living Allowance
