Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a full-time remote opportunity. Applicants must be located and authorized to work in the United States. Cognizant will not offer visa sponsorships now or anytime in the future.
The Enterprise Architect will provide strategic and technical leadership across enterprise integration, transformation, and migration initiatives. This role serves as the primary architecture lead responsible for aligning business objectives, technology strategy, solution design, and execution across multiple workstreams including Enterprise Platforms, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Network, Zero Trust, Observability, Endpoint Management, and End User Support. The Enterprise Architect will ensure successful planning, design, implementation, transition, and adoption of integration programs while governing technical standards, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end architecture, strategy, and planning for enterprise integration and transformation programs.
• Act as the primary technical authority across all technology workstreams and integration activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, program managers, and leadership teams to define target-state architectures and transition roadmaps.
• Conduct discovery workshops to identify business requirements, technical dependencies, risks, and implementation constraints.
• Develop integration strategies, migration approaches, operating models, and implementation frameworks.
• Establish architecture governance, design standards, and best practices across the program.
• Provide leadership across Enterprise Platforms, IAM, Network, Security, Zero Trust, Observability, Endpoint Management, and End User Services.
• Review, approve, and govern solution architectures, technical designs, and implementation plans.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and resolve technical issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, technology integrations, cloud transformations, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Oversee transition, deployment, hypercare, and operational readiness activities.
• Develop reusable architecture patterns, playbooks, frameworks, and reference models.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to architects, engineers, and technical leads.
• Present architecture recommendations, risks, and progress updates to executive stakeholders.
• Ensure delivered solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned to business objectives.
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or Technology Transformation leadership.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise integration, migration, or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Platforms, IAM, Network Infrastructure, Security, Zero Trust Architecture, Observability, Endpoint Management, and Cloud Technologies.
• Experience developing enterprise roadmaps, target-state architectures, transition strategies, and governance models.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional global teams and complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
• TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect certification.
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
• ServiceNow architecture and integration experience.
• Experience supporting M&A technology integration and transformation initiatives.

The salary range for this role is between $119,000 and $139000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 10/10/2026.
