DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 4 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Gearset Salesforce DevOps and GIT along with domain knowledge in Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can streamline development processes and ensure seamless integration and deployment in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and maintain DevOps pipelines for Salesforce applications using Gearset and GIT.
• Develop and manage CI/CD workflows to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes for Salesforce DevOps projects.
• Monitor and optimize system performance ensuring high availability and scalability of Salesforce environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in deployment cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce DevOps pipelines ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for version control and branching strategies using GIT.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols in all DevOps processes and deployments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable DevOps solutions.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes configurations and workflows to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in DevOps tools and methodologies applying them to enhance team productivity.
• Support the team in managing and resolving incidents related to Life and Annuities Insurance applications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Gearset Salesforce DevOps and GIT with a proven track record of successful implementations.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Life and Annuities Insurance domain enabling effective collaboration with business teams.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Showcase strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline deployment processes.
• Display proficiency in scripting languages to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Bring a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges in DevOps workflows.
• Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of DevOps practices.
• Exhibit adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements.
• Possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-impact solutions.
• Have experience in working with Agile methodologies and contributing to iterative development cycles.
