The Sr. Test Analyst role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of ETL Tool Application Testing and GCP BigQuery processes. With a focus on day shifts and work from office model the candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing data integrity and optimizing testing methodologies. This position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant fields.
This position is hybrid (2-3 days on site) on our Guadalajara offices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing of ETL Tool Applications to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues in data processing workflows.
- Design and implement test cases for GCP BigQuery to validate data transformations and storage solutions.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Utilize advanced testing techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data validation processes.
- Monitor and maintain testing environments to ensure consistency and reliability across all projects.
- Develop automated testing scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance productivity.
- Work closely with project managers to align testing strategies with business objectives and timelines.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing ETL processes based on test findings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all testing activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in testing methodologies.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and innovative testing approaches.
- Engage in regular communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and identify discrepancies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ETL Tool Application Testing and GCP BigQuery.
- Have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities to address testing challenges effectively.
- Show experience in developing automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Display strong communication skills to articulate testing results and recommendations clearly.
- Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
