Position Summary:
- The ICT RPA, AI and Web Test Specialist will be experienced in defining and executing testing strategies across RPA, AI-enabled solutions and web applications. The role will focus on validating automation workflows, AI-driven outputs, integrations, user interfaces and end-to-end business processes across platforms such as Blue Prism, UiPath, Power Platform and web-based enterprise applications. The Specialist will prepare test plans, test scripts and test cases, perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing, and document test outcomes through defect reports and supporting artefacts. They will also work closely with client stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure testing is completed in line with agreed standards, timelines and quality expectations.
- The Specialist will collaborate with key clients to ensure RPA, AI and web solutions are tested effectively and meet agreed quality standards before release. If successful, you will play a critical role in strengthening Cognizant’s testing capability across automation, AI and digital platforms within ANZ.
- This role requires strong testing experience across RPA, AI and web-based applications, supported by banking domain knowledge across Mortgages, Credit Card Verification, Consumer Finance, Group Operations, Procurement and UDA Management. You will work closely with clients to validate critical business processes, automation outcomes, AI-assisted results and digital user journeys to ensure high-quality delivery.
- This is a permanent role, and we need someone with strong client-facing and consulting skills, effective communication, and hands-on experience in testing RPA, AI and web solutions. This role sits within Cognizant’s RPA Practice and supports the broader automation, AI and digital testing portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and execute test strategies for RPA automations, AI-enabled solutions and web applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and quality standards.
•Plan and complete testing activities within agreed project timelines, while clearly communicating risks, issues, dependencies and progress updates to stakeholders.
•Prepare, review and execute test scenarios, test cases and test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, user acceptance and end-to-end testing.
•Validate RPA process flows, AI-assisted outputs, web user journeys, system integrations, data accuracy and exception handling against defined acceptance criteria.
•Identify, document, track and retest defects using agreed defect management processes, ensuring issues are clearly described with appropriate evidence and impact details.
•Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis by reproducing issues, analyzing test results, validating fixes and confirming system behavior after remediation.
•Perform support and maintenance testing, including regression testing, production validation, post-release checks and operational readiness testing.
•Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test evidence, defect reports, test completion summaries, operational guides and handover materials.
•Contribute to solution transition and delivery planning by supporting test estimation, quality assurance reviews, release readiness assessments and testing governance activities.
•Coordinate and guide offshore testing team members by assigning work, reviewing test outputs, tracking progress, resolving blockers and ensuring timely delivery of quality testing outcomes.
•Apply banking domain knowledge across Mortgages, Credit Card Verification, Consumer Finance, Group Operations, Procurement and UDA Management to design practical and relevant test scenarios.
•Use domain understanding to validate business process accuracy, operational compliance and system behavior across RPA, AI and web-based banking solutions.
Mandatory Skills:
•Strong experience in testing RPA, AI-enabled and web-based applications across functional, regression, integration and end-to-end scenarios.
•Ability to quickly understand customer business processes and translate them into clear test scenarios, test cases and validation criteria.
•Proactive approach to improving testing practices, defect management, automation validation and overall solution quality across RPA, AI and web delivery.
Salary Range: >$100,000
