Responsibilities : -Participate in code reviews and apply shared coding standards to maintain consistency readability and long term maintainability across services -Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to clarify requirements and translate functional needs into technical designs that align with business outcomes -Create unit tests and basic automation scripts to validate application behavior and improve overall software quality and reliability -Troubleshoot defects and production issues by analyzing logs and data flows to restore normal service quickly and prevent recurring incidents -Contribute to documentation of technical designs data models and deployment steps to support smooth knowledge sharing within the team -Engage in sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives to provide status updates and continuously improve development practices -Apply secure coding practices when handling data operations in SQL and Net Core to protect sensitive information and comply with organizational policies -Support integration of application components with existing systems to ensure consistent user experience and stable end to end workflows -Assist in performance tuning of SQL queries and service endpoints to reduce response times and improve system throughput for end users -Coordinate with quality assurance members to understand defect trends and implement targeted code improvements that enhance user satisfaction -Explore relevant tools and frameworks in the Net Core and SQL ecosystem to recommend incremental improvements that align with company technology strategy -Qualifications -Demonstrate practical experience using Net Core to build or enhance web or service based applications either through projects internships or prior roles -Show working knowledge of SQL including writing joins stored procedures and basic optimization for transactional or reporting scenarios -Exhibit strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze requirements break down tasks and deliver incremental value in a structured manner -Display clear communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders in a remote work from home environment -Highlight any exposure to property and casualty insurance systems where policy claims or billing processes were supported through technology solutions -Highlight any exposure to life and annuities insurance concepts where product rules policy life cycles or customer servicing workflows were automated -Describe any involvement in finance and accounting related applications such as general ledger reporting or reconciliation tools using SQL and Net Core -Show willingness to learn enterprise engineering practices including version control continuous integration and structured testing processes -Emphasize adaptability to work independently in a day shift work from home model while managing time and responsibilities with minimal supervision -Illustrate basic understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methods to contribute effectively to iterative delivery cycles -Share examples of academic or personal projects that demonstrate curiosity accountability and commitment to delivering robust software solutions 9.
