Job Summary
Serve as a technology architect specializing in Pega solutions to design optimize and govern scalable data integration user experience and case management capabilities for enterprise card and payment operations in a hybrid work model ensuring secure reliable and compliant digital services that improve customer journeys and operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design end to end Pega based architectures that align business objectives with scalable and maintainable technical solutions focused on data integration user experience and case management for enterprise clients in a hybrid work environment.
- Define architectural standards patterns and best practices for Pega data models integrations and case structures to ensure consistency performance and long term sustainability across multiple programs and portfolios.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and subject matter experts to translate complex card and payment requirements into robust Pega solution designs that improve customer journeys and operational effectiveness.
- Guide teams in configuring and optimizing Pega case types workflows and service levels so that business processes for dispute handling transaction investigations and service requests are streamlined and auditable.
- Develop strategies and blueprints for Pega integrations with core banking systems payment gateways external services and enterprise data platforms to support secure high volume transaction processing and information exchange.
- Architect intuitive Pega user interfaces and interaction flows that enhance usability accessibility and responsiveness while remaining compliant with enterprise design standards and regulatory expectations.
- Conduct technical reviews of Pega applications covering performance scalability security and maintainability then provide clear improvement plans that reduce risk and support future growth.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation including solution diagrams integration contracts case design references and non functional requirements to enable traceability and effective knowledge transfer.
- Partner with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure Pega environments are configured for optimal performance capacity and resilience supporting day shift operations with minimal disruption to critical business processes.
- Evaluate and introduce advanced Pega capabilities such as decisioning data flows and integration connectors where appropriate to unlock new automation opportunities and strengthen card and payment services for customers and merchants.
- Support defect analysis and complex issue resolution by tracing problems across data layers integration points and case configurations then recommending structural fixes that prevent recurrence and improve system stability.
- Provide architectural governance during development and testing cycles ensuring that solution implementations remain aligned with approved designs enterprise standards and regulatory requirements relevant to payment processing.
- Mentor technologists and stakeholders on Pega architecture concepts patterns and constraints so that teams can make informed design choices that uphold quality velocity and compliance objectives.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive hands on experience designing and implementing Pega data models integrations and case structures over at least ten years in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate advanced expertise in Pega user experience configuration including layout strategies navigation patterns and responsive design approaches that support diverse user groups.
- Bring strong practical knowledge of Pega case management including work hierarchy orchestration service levels and exception handling for mission critical business processes.
- Apply awareness of cards and payments domain concepts such as authorization clearing settlement disputes fraud checks and compliance to design solutions that reflect industry practices and regulatory needs.
- Exhibit strong capability in collaborating across business and technology functions to reconcile requirements constraints and risks into pragmatic architecture decisions that deliver measurable business value.
- Show proficiency in analyzing non functional needs such as throughput latency reliability and security then incorporating them into Pega architectural patterns for data flows user interactions and integration channels.
- Utilize solid experience working in hybrid delivery models and day shift schedules coordinating onsite and remote stakeholders and ensuring effective communication for architecture decisions and implementation guidelines.
