Job Summary
This hybrid role seeks a seasoned functional lead with eight to twelve years of experience in S4 HANA sales and logistics modules focusing on contracts billing revenue and advanced pricing. The role drives end to end order to cash solutions that optimize billing accuracy pricing flexibility and logistics execution. The individual will partner with business teams to refine processes for consumer goods and broader supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end to end design of S4 HANA contracts and agreements processes to ensure accurate lifecycle management from contract creation through renewal and closure while aligning with enterprise policies and compliance needs.
- Drive configuration and optimization of S4 HANA billing and revenue capabilities to improve invoice accuracy reduce revenue leakage and support transparent reporting for finance and business stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of S4 HANA advance pricing scenarios to support complex discount structures surcharges and promotions ensuring data integrity and consistent pricing decisions across channels.
- Coordinate process flows in S4 HANA advance order to cash to streamline order intake fulfillment and invoicing enabling faster cycle times and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Manage functional design for S4 HANA sales BOM to support bundled offerings and kits ensuring accurate component mapping pricing and downstream impact on inventory and costing.
- Guide configuration and testing activities in S4 HANA basic logistic execute to strengthen delivery processing shipment management and goods issue so that physical flows align smoothly with system records.
- Collaborate with supply chain and consumer goods domain teams to translate business scenarios into robust S4 HANA solutions that improve forecast accuracy service levels and product availability.
- Provide detailed functional specifications for enhancements integrations and reports ensuring that technical teams can deliver stable solutions that maintain system performance and usability.
- Conduct fit gap analysis workshops with business partners to evaluate current processes identify improvement opportunities and recommend standardized S4 HANA practices that reduce complexity.
- Facilitate system testing cycles including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing to validate configurations and reduce defects before deployment to production environments.
- Mentor junior functional consultants by sharing best practices reusable templates and business insights to build team capability and ensure consistent solution quality across projects.
- Coordinate with change management teams to prepare training content process documentation and adoption plans helping end users embrace new ways of working with minimal disruption.
- Support production operations through incident analysis root cause identification and continuous improvement activities thereby increasing system reliability and business confidence.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong practical expertise in S4 HANA contracts and agreements billing and revenue advance pricing advance order to cash sales BOM and basic logistic execute with proven success in project delivery.
- Bring solid exposure to supply chain management and consumer goods industry scenarios including demand planning distribution and retail execution turning business requirements into S4 HANA solutions.
- Apply advanced skills in business process analysis documentation and testing to ensure that configurations are traceable auditable and aligned to agreed functional designs.
- Utilize effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to work with cross functional teams in a hybrid model coordinating workshops discussions and decisions across locations.
- Show experience in working within global MNC environments adhering to standard templates governance models and quality benchmarks while meeting day shift expectations and no travel requirements.
Certifications Required
SAP certification in S4 HANA Sales or S4 HANA Logistics highly preferred
