Job Summary
This role focuses on delivering high quality mapping solutions using MAP for finance and accounting processes in a multinational office environment. The professional will apply domain expertise to optimize data flows enhance financial accuracy and support compliant reporting while collaborating with cross functional teams on rotational shifts and ensuring reliable operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver robust mapping solutions using MAP to support accurate financial postings and accounting reconciliations that align with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
- Implement and refine MAP configurations for finance and accounting processes to ensure reliable data integration across core business applications and reporting platforms.
- Analyze finance and accounting data flows to identify anomalies in MAP driven transformations and propose corrective actions that improve transparency and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with finance operations and accounting stakeholders to translate business rules into precise MAP logic that supports consistent transaction processing.
- Maintain detailed functional documentation for MAP workflows related to finance and accounting activities to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
- Troubleshoot MAP defects impacting financial close invoicing and general ledger activities by conducting root cause analysis and coordinating timely resolution.
- Optimize MAP performance for finance and accounting use cases by fine tuning mappings and validation rules to reduce processing time and improve data quality.
- Coordinate with technology and finance teams during rotational shifts to monitor MAP jobs and promptly address issues affecting critical reporting cycles.
- Support periodic audits of MAP enabled financial processes by supplying traceable mapping documentation and demonstrating control adherence.
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives by enhancing existing MAP solutions to support new products cost centers and reporting structures.
- Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and regulatory expectations by embedding appropriate checks and balances into MAP configurations for finance and accounting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing feedback from finance users on MAP outputs and implementing targeted enhancements that elevate user confidence.
- Align daily office based activities with enterprise objectives by ensuring that MAP supported financial information remains timely accurate and useful for strategic decision making.
Qualifications
- Bring practical experience working with MAP in production environments with at least two years of hands on involvement in configuring and supporting mapping solutions for finance and accounting processes.
- Apply strong finance and accounting domain knowledge to interpret chart of accounts cost allocations reconciliations and reporting structures when designing and validating MAP logic.
- Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing transactional and master data to validate MAP results and identify gaps that could impact financial statements or operational metrics.
- Utilize solid understanding of general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and financial close activities to ensure MAP configurations reflect real world finance and accounting requirements.
- Exhibit capability to work in rotational shifts in an office based environment while maintaining consistent quality in MAP monitoring incident resolution and user support activities.
- Leverage good communication and documentation skills to articulate complex mapping behavior in simple terms for finance partners and to create clear operational runbooks.
- Show adaptability in fast paced finance operations by quickly learning new MAP features and applying them to evolving accounting standards and business policies.
