About the role
As a Facets Products Consultant Manager, you will make an impact by serving as a senior consulting lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Facets core applications and sub-modules. You will provide strategic guidance, solution design leadership, and configuration expertise to help healthcare payer clients optimize Facets functionality, improve claims auto-adjudication rates, implement new lines of business, and maximize platform value.
You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team, working closely with client stakeholders, business leaders, technical architects, product specialists, and delivery teams to develop scalable, high-performing Facets solutions aligned with business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary Facets SME and trusted advisor, providing expertise on Facets configuration architecture, system capabilities, and best practices.
- Lead requirements discovery workshops, design sessions, and solution reviews to translate business and operational needs into effective Facets configurations.
- Assess current-state Facets environments and develop future-state optimization roadmaps, including recommendations for underutilized modules, configuration improvements, and measurable performance outcomes.
- Design and recommend scalable solutions that improve claims processing efficiency, auto-adjudication performance, and operational effectiveness.
- Partner with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver innovative solutions aligned with client goals.
- Develop and communicate project plans, implementation strategies, and configuration approaches for new business implementations, product enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
- Provide consulting leadership throughout project lifecycles, including solution architecture, gap analysis, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
- Mentor client teams and transfer product knowledge to ensure long-term operational success and adoption.
- Collaborate effectively across onshore and offshore delivery teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Support Facets ITS-related initiatives, enhancements, production support, and strategic transformation programs.

What you need to have to be considered
- 10+ years of experience working with TriZetto Facets in consulting, implementation, configuration, or solution architecture roles.
- Deep expertise in Facets core modules including Benefits, Provider, Enrollment, and Claims.
- Strong experience conducting requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and application configuration.
- Advanced knowledge of Facets ITS functionality, claims adjudication processing, and related data structures.
- Experience developing and implementing configuration strategies that improve operational efficiency and claims auto-adjudication performance.
- Proven ability to evaluate current-state environments and develop future-state architecture and optimization recommendations.
- Experience leading medium to large-scale healthcare payer implementations, enhancements, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex application configurations and business requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating successfully within global onshore/offshore delivery models.

- Experience with claims root cause analysis and claims processing optimization.
- Expertise with Benefits Cost Shares, PCA, and Workflow configuration.
- Experience resolving complex UM, COB, Provider, and Member Match issues.
- Knowledge of Facets sub-modules and identifying opportunities to expand platform utilization.
- Prior healthcare payer consulting experience supporting digital transformation, modernization, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Experience creating measurable performance metrics and benchmarking configuration effectiveness.
- Experience leading client-facing workshops, executive presentations, and solution governance activities.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
