About the role
As a Consulting Manager - Pricing, Rebates & Market Access Analytics, you will make an impact by leading day-to-day delivery on client engagements involving pricing strategy, contracting and gross-to-net (GTN) analytics, analyzing claims, rebate and pricing data to validate assumptions, build forecasting models and support government pricing and market access reporting. You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences Commercial Analytics Consulting — Pricing, Rebates & Market Access Analytics team and work collaboratively with engagement leads and client Market Access, Trade and Finance stakeholders, and clients.
In this role, you will
- Lead workstreams analyzing claims, rebate and gross-to-net (GTN) data to validate pricing assumptions and monitor contract performance for clients
- Support government pricing calculations and regulatory reporting (e.g., Best Price, 340B, Non-FAMP, AMP, ASP, URA) and State Price Transparency Reporting (SPTR) as part of client engagements
- Build and maintain GTN forecasting models and assumption libraries covering rebates, discounts, chargebacks and utilization, and partner with client Finance stakeholders on forecast cycles (Plan/LBE/LRP) and variance/scenario analyses
- Support payer and channel contract analytics, including bid modeling, break-even analysis and rebate/fee modeling, and develop KPI dashboards to monitor payer/PBM, trade and channel program performance
- Manage data quality for claims, rebate and pricing feeds from third-party vendors, coordinate with vendors on rebate administration and government pricing, and coach analysts and consultants on the case team
Work model

What you must have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- 5-7 years of experience in pricing, market access, managed markets or GTN analytics for pharmaceutical or biotech clients, gained within a consulting firm, analytics advisory firm or life sciences company
- Client-facing experience and direct experience supporting pricing operations, rebate administration or government pricing calculations
- Working knowledge of claims and rebate data sources (e.g., IQVIA, MMIT, plan-level utilization/adjudicated claims data, Integrichain 852/867) and pricing/GTN systems (e.g., Model N, Vistex, Revitas), plus core techniques such as GTN forecasting, contract/bid modeling, break-even and ROI analysis, and scenario modeling
- Advanced Excel skills with working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau (SQL a plus), strong project management ability, and a data governance mindset given the regulatory sensitivity of pricing and government pricing data
These will help you succeed
- Prior experience at a consulting or professional services firm serving life sciences clients
- Experience with government pricing systems and Medicaid/Medicare Part D reporting
- Exposure to Anaplan or similar planning/forecasting platforms
- Experience supporting a product launch or new indication in a specialty therapeutic area
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as required

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2026
- The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $129,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
