Location: Des Moines, IA, NJ, NY, West Coast
About the Role
As a Data, Analytics and AI Service Line Specialist, you will play a key role in driving business growth through consultative selling of data, analytics and AI capabilities and offerings.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, cross-sell and up-sell. You will also work with the Partner network on joint GTM. You will be responsible for profitable growth of your portfolio.
Work Model
Hybrid. Travel to client offices within travel distance, is expected 2-4 days in a week. If you are not at a client location or in travel, you would be expected to work from nearest Cognizant office within 50-mile radius for 2-3 days in a week. On a need basis, accommodations will be made for some exception situations.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
· Minimum 5 years in Selling Data & Analytics Solutions and Services
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
· Solid experience in a business growth / sales role in data management, analytics and AI across multiple industries preferably in Insurance Domain – Property & Casualty, Life & Annuity, Group Benefits, Health Insurance etc.
· Experience with data migration, data management, governance analytics and reporting.
· Strong exposure to selling Data solutions on Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms and AI offerings
· Sound knowledge on Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica and other leading Data Products.
· Practitioners’ knowledge of Agentic AI/GenAI/ML.
· Experience with leading Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.
· Excellent ability and aptitude to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C-Suite.
· Experience with largescale consulting and program execution engagements at the data analytics and AI space.
· Ability to appreciate and work on 360-degree aspects around a data and insights life cycle across the business value chain.
· Strong technical skills with ability to find technical solutions to business problems and engage the potential customer with “consultative selling” is essential.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presentation and persuasion skills are required.
· Ability to interface at all levels of an organization.
· Consultative selling experience is a must.
· Knowledge of industry trends, customer pain points, potential opportunities in various areas like cloud, Agentic AI/Gen AI/ML, modern data architecture, data governance, IoT and intelligent automations are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification and knowledge of AI trends and Agentic solutions, preferably in the Banking, Insurance and Healthcare Insurance space.
· Knowledge in enterprise data management architecture and principles, master data management, data governance and data quality
· Knowledge in data modernization, Cloud, data migration and digital transformation
· MBA or master’s degree from a top-ranked institution.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is $160,000 - $185,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
