Job Summary
Sr Software Engineer B3 role focuses on designing and building secure scalable and resilient mobile and backend applications using React Native Java and JavaScript within a hybrid work model The role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high quality features that improve user experience and align with business goals while ensuring maintainable code and continuous improvement across the software lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable React Native mobile applications that deliver a consistent and intuitive user experience across multiple device platforms and screen sizes
- Implement robust Java based backend services that ensure secure efficient and reliable processing of business logic and data workflows in alignment with enterprise standards
- Build reusable JavaScript components and utilities that improve development efficiency maintainability and consistency across multiple projects and codebases
- Collaborate closely with product managers designers and fellow engineers to refine technical requirements clarify use cases and align implementation details with business outcomes
- Review and refactor existing code to improve performance reliability and readability while maintaining strict adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices
- Integrate mobile and backend systems with internal and external application programming interfaces to ensure accurate secure and efficient data exchange
- Develop and maintain automated unit integration and functional tests that increase coverage reduce regressions and support confident delivery of new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues by analyzing logs telemetry and user feedback to identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes
- Optimize application performance by profiling critical paths reducing unnecessary network calls and tuning database and caching strategies for responsive user experiences
- Contribute to technical design discussions by proposing pragmatic solutions that balance short term delivery needs with long term system scalability and resilience
- Mentor junior engineers by providing constructive feedback pairing on complex tasks and sharing practical guidance on React Native Java and JavaScript engineering practices
- Document system architecture key design decisions and operational runbooks in a clear and concise manner to support knowledge sharing and efficient incident response
- Collaborate within the hybrid work model by using digital collaboration tools to maintain clear communication alignment and transparency across distributed teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps suggesting automation opportunities and supporting adoption of modern engineering tools and practices
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to security compliance and data privacy guidelines to protect users and support the company reputation in global markets
Qualifications
- Exhibit strong hands on experience in building and shipping complex React Native applications including state management navigation and offline capabilities
- Demonstrate deep proficiency in Java language features object oriented design patterns and development of secure and performant backend services
- Apply solid JavaScript fundamentals including asynchronous programming modular architectures and tooling to deliver maintainable and testable code
- Utilize practical knowledge of software engineering practices such as version control branching strategies code reviews and continuous integration in daily work
- Employ working experience with relational or document databases and query optimization techniques to design efficient and reliable data access layers
- Display familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery methods by participating in planning estimation daily discussions and continuous feedback cycles
- Leverage exposure to cloud based environments and containerization concepts to support scalable deployment of mobile and backend services even at a foundational level
- Value strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid setup and engage constructively with peers stakeholders and partner teams
Certifications Required
Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent Java certification preferred React Native or JavaScript framework certification is an advantage
