As a Data Collection Scheduler, you will make an impact by managing research collections with participants designed to validate engineering approaches for augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) products. You will help evaluate user feedback and provide recommendations to AR/VR product teams, supporting design strategies and engineering improvements.
In this role, you will own the scheduling and operational coordination of sessions end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution across locations and teams. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant team and work collaboratively with AR/VR stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.

- Schedule participant sessions and maintain accurate calendars across multiple locations and time zones (PST & EST)
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail when managing appointments, ensuring accuracy and avoiding scheduling conflicts
- Monitor session attendance and proactively adjust schedules when participants cancel, quickly filling open slots to maintain program continuity
- Think on your feet and pivot quickly—for example:
- Reassign sessions if a Data Collection (DC) Specialist is unavailable
- Shift sessions across workstreams or locations as needed
- Create and manage workstream calendars while ensuring coverage and proper resource allocation
- Stay actively engaged in group chats and communication channels to monitor updates, respond to issues, and support last-minute changes
- Respond to participant and stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner
- Gather user feedback, preferences, and research data based on client requirements
- Create process documentation, training materials, and best practices
- Develop and present insights using data visualization (charts, graphs, reports)
- Collaborate with team members on data validation, prioritization, and issue resolution
- Triage operational issues and recommend process improvements based on trends and observations
- Track activities, session minutes, and updates using internal tools and platforms
- Handle inbound support requests and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Report project status, timelines, milestones, and identify any data gaps
What you need to have to be considered:
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage high-volume coordination
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing appointments and logistics
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, handling last-minute changes and unexpected challenges
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in customer service, operations, or client-facing roles
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Comfortable working in digital/technology environments, ideally with exposure to tech products
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to make real-time decisions
- Self-starter who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments with minimal supervision
