Job Summary
Sr Software Engineer B3 will design and build scalable hybrid cloud applications using Java based microservices React Native interfaces and robust data platforms on PostgreSQL and SQL. The role requires deep proficiency in Kafka based event streaming AWS services and Spring Boot to deliver secure resilient and high performing solutions that support global business operations and enrich user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable microservices based applications using Core Java and Spring Boot to support resilient and modular business capabilities that can evolve with changing enterprise needs.
- Implement high quality backend services with strong focus on clean code practices automated testing and observability to reduce production incidents and improve maintainability over time.
- Develop and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL based data models queries and stored procedures to ensure reliable data integrity consistent performance and robust transactional behavior for critical systems.
- Create and maintain PL SQL and MySQL routines where needed to integrate legacy components with modern services while preserving data quality and reducing migration risk.
- Build responsive React Native user interfaces that deliver consistent and accessible experiences across mobile devices and platforms while adhering to modern usability guidelines.
- Write Advanced JavaScript and JavaScript logic that emphasizes modularity reusability and performance to support complex front end workflows and dynamic data visualizations.
- Design and implement Kafka based event streaming pipelines that ensure reliable message delivery fault tolerance and near real time data processing for high volume workloads.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS using best practices for security cost efficiency and scalability while leveraging managed services to reduce operational overhead.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to refine requirements clarify technical constraints and align solutions with broader enterprise architecture standards.
- Conduct code reviews mentor peers through constructive feedback and champion engineering standards that improve overall code quality and delivery efficiency across the team.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues by analyzing logs metrics and traces to quickly identify root causes and implement preventative improvements.
- Document system designs APIs operational runbooks and deployment procedures to support smooth handovers and consistent onboarding of new team members.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate functional goals into technical solutions that create measurable value for clients and contribute to positive societal outcomes through reliable digital services.
Qualifications
- Apply strong experience of at least nine years in Core Java Java Spring Boot and microservices to architect and deliver secure high performance backend solutions in enterprise environments.
- Use advanced expertise in PostgreSQL SQL and PL SQL or MySQL to design normalized schemas tune queries and manage migrations that ensure scalable and reliable data persistence.
- Bring proven experience with Kafka and event driven architectures to design streaming solutions that support decoupled services and real time data flows.
- Leverage deep skills in React Native Advanced JavaScript and JavaScript to craft intuitive front end experiences that integrate seamlessly with backend APIs and enhance user productivity.
- Utilize hands on AWS experience to configure environments manage deployments and apply cloud native patterns that improve availability and resilience of critical applications.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of software engineering practices including version control continuous integration code review and test automation to support predictable and high quality releases.
- Draw on previous work in hybrid delivery models to collaborate effectively across locations and time zones while maintaining clear communication and accountability.
