Shift : Day 8. Responsibilities : We are seeking an experienced Offshore Embedded Developer with 5+ years of experience in Networking Embedded C Development Linux and Kernel Programming. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing debugging and optimizing embedded software for networking devices and embedded systems. 5+ years of Programming experience for both user and kernel space in C / C++ 5+ years of working experience in WiFi Wireless networking (AP Hotspot Single SSID Band / Channel) 5+ years of Linux kernel development experience Strong knowledge and working experience in networking Multicast DHCP MAP-T IPv4 IPv6 Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions systems and processes Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments Practical experience with developing features for OpenWRT/PRPL Strong debugging troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills Experience with the creation of packages - ideally Opkg or RPM Experience standing up cross-compilers and build environments for bootstrapping development Strong scripting skills python groovy busyBox(ash and tools) etc. Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to the goals of the system Ability to deal with ambiguity uncertainty and incomplete information when evaluating alternatives and making recommendations Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks Creative and abstract thinking skills to envision and design innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges Proven ability to work independently designing developing and deploying solutions and to deliver projects on time with minimal direction Ability to listen and evaluate all opinions without bias and contribute to a common culture of excellence 9.
