Senior Salesforce Administrator

Location: Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing the Salesforce platform. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and support teams to ensure platform stability, user adoption, data quality, security compliance, and successful delivery of business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
• Configure and maintain Salesforce applications using declarative capabilities.
• Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.
• Create and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Lightning Apps.
• Build and support Salesforce Flows, approval processes, and workflow automations.
• Create reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to support business operations.
• Support Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products as required.
Production Support & Operations
• Provide L2/L3 support for Salesforce platform issues and user requests.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration, data, and access-related incidents.
• Monitor application performance and system health.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
• Support monthly releases, deployments, and post-production validation activities.
• Maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Data Management
• Perform data imports, exports, cleansing, and mass updates using Data Loader and other tools.
• Maintain data quality, duplicate management, and governance standards.
• Ensure compliance with data security and audit requirements.
Security & Compliance
• Manage Salesforce security model including:
o Profiles
o Permission Sets
o Role Hierarchy
o Sharing Rules
o Field-Level Security
• Participate in org health assessments and security reviews.
• Support vulnerability remediation activities in partnership with development teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Provide end-user support and training.
• Collaborate with business, QA, development, and integration teams.
• Support UAT activities and release readiness.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience.
• Strong experience with:
o Sales Cloud
o Service Cloud
o Lightning Experience
o Salesforce Flow
o Reports and Dashboards
o Data Loader
• Expertise in user management and Salesforce security model.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
• Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Financial Services or Banking domain experience.
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Knowledge of DevOps and release management processes.
• Familiarity with Apex, LWC, and integrations for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience with Salesforce Optimizer and Org Health reviews.
Nice to Have
• Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.
• Experience with AI, Agentforce, Einstein, or Copilot-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or enterprise ticketing systems.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
Role Summary
Salesforce Administrator responsible for platform configuration, user management, security administration, production support, reporting, workflow automation, data governance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce solutions in a large enterprise environment.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 08/28/2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 90,000– $ 110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
