As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications that deliver high availability, performance, and exceptional user experiences. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, quality engineers, and fellow developers to deliver innovative solutions.

In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Java EE, Angular, and related technologies.
- Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and support.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop responsive and modern user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Conduct software analysis, troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure application reliability.
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to evaluate technologies, review designs, and recommend improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
What you need to have to be considered
- 6+ years of overall experience.
- Strong experience in Java and Java EE application development.
- Hands-on experience developing web applications using Angular.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful web services.
- Experience building scalable, high-performance, and highly available enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, testing, debugging, and code quality practices.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

- Experience making technical and architectural decisions for enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and user experience best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning, application optimization, and scalability improvements.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 – $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
