About the role
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will make an impact by leading the design and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions that support digital transformation initiatives within the banking industry. You will be responsible for defining scalable architectures, guiding technical teams, and ensuring successful implementation of platform capabilities that align with business and technology objectives.
You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Platform Services team and work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and leadership teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

In this role, you will:
Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and strategic objectives.
Lead the architecture and implementation of ServiceNow capabilities across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and FSM.
Define and oversee integration strategies between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, and cloud technologies.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the solution lifecycle, including design reviews and code reviews.
Establish architectural standards, governance practices, and development best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solution designs.
Support data migration, platform upgrades, deployments, and production stabilization activities.
Partner with Agile teams to drive successful project delivery, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
What you need to have to be considered
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or ServiceNow Architect delivering enterprise platform implementations.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture, design, development, and implementation.
Hands-on experience with one or more ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or FSM.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience designing scalable cloud-based solutions and enterprise application architectures.
Knowledge of data migration strategies, platform modernization, and system integration best practices.
Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise software delivery processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
These will help you stand out
Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Master Architect (CMA), or other advanced ServiceNow certifications.
Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
Experience with cloud platforms and modern enterprise integration technologies.
Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive technology strategy discussions.
Experience establishing architecture governance processes and technical standards across enterprise programs.
Work Model
This is a fully remote position based in Canada. Team members will work remotely while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams to deliver enterprise ServiceNow solutions and transformation initiatives.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until October 25, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $77,000-$88,000 depending on experience and other
qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and
subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
