Job Summary

Principal Architect role in a global organization driving robust enterprise solutions for contract authoring sale buy and complex contracts and agreements using iCertis in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on designing scalable secure and compliant platforms that streamline contract lifecycle management support business growth in day shift with no travel requirement.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive enterprise architectures for contract authoring sale buy processes ensuring seamless integration of contracts and agreements workflows with iCertis platforms to deliver reliable and scalable solutions that support global business operations.
• Develop high level and detailed solution designs that optimize contract lifecycle management including authoring negotiation approval and archiving while maintaining strong alignment with compliance and risk management objectives.
• Collaborate with product owners business stakeholders and implementation teams to define clear functional and nonfunctional requirements for contract systems ensuring that architectural decisions reflect strategic priorities and operational constraints.
• Guide technical teams in implementing iCertis based solutions by providing clear architectural blueprints patterns and standards that promote reuse robustness and ease of maintenance across hybrid work settings.
• Evaluate existing contract management landscapes identifying gaps and inefficiencies then recommend architectural improvements and modernization strategies that increase automation traceability and user satisfaction.
• Drive integration architectures between iCertis contract platforms and surrounding enterprise systems such as customer relationship platforms resource planning tools and document repositories to ensure consistent data flow and reporting accuracy.
• Establish governance for contract related solution design including reference architectures coding guidelines performance benchmarks and quality checks to uphold high standards across day shift delivery teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews and risk assessments for new contract features and enhancements focusing on scalability security data privacy and regulatory requirements to safeguard organizational assets and stakeholder trust.
• Mentor senior engineers and solution designers on advanced architecture practices related to contract authoring and agreement management encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in hybrid collaboration environments.
• Collaborate with operations and support teams to design resilient architectures for monitoring incident response and performance tuning of contract solutions ensuring high availability and predictable service levels.
• Explore emerging technologies and advanced analytics that can enhance contract authoring processes and agreement insights including opportunities related to cheminformatics and bioinformatics domains where applicable.
• Document architecture decisions implementation guidelines and best practices in clear and accessible formats so that cross functional teams can consistently deliver contract solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience as an architect working on contract authoring sale buy solutions with deep exposure to contracts and agreements workflows and strong proficiency in designing platforms around iCertis technology.
• Demonstrate strong skills in enterprise architecture methods including component design integration patterns security design and performance optimization specifically applied to contract lifecycle management systems.
• Bring hands on experience implementing or overseeing iCertis based solutions with a clear track record of delivering stable scalable and configurable contract platforms in complex organizational environments.
• Show capability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including business analysts legal specialists and engineering staff ensuring that solution designs for contracts accurately reflect business rules and regulatory obligations.
• Display solid understanding of data modeling and information architecture for contract repositories including clauses counterparties obligations and metadata to enable robust search analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Offer domain familiarity in cheminformatics or bioinformatics as a nice to have skill enabling better architectural alignment when contract solutions support research innovation or life sciences related operations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in hybrid work practices including remote collaboration documentation discipline and use of shared tools to keep architecture communication clear and consistent across distributed day shift teams.
