The GCP Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. This role involves working with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and other GCP services to deliver reliable, high performance data solutions for analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence.

8.Responsibilities :
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high performance data pipelines on GCP.
Build batch and streaming data workflows using Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer, and Pub/Sub.
Develop and optimize BigQuery data models, partitioning, clustering, and query performance.
Implement ETL/ELT processes using cloud native and open source tools.
Write efficient SQL and Python code for data transformation and automation.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Cloud Build, GitHub, or similar tools.
Automate data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring.
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand requirements.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Document architecture, data flows, and operational processes.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
Proactive mindset with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
