Experience: 4 - 8 years
As a Data Scientist II, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will analyze complex datasets to uncover insights, build and maintain machine learning models—including GenAI applications—and ensure their continued performance through retraining and monitoring. This role requires a strong foundation in Python, data science libraries, and MLOps practices. You will work independently or collaboratively, depending on project needs, and continuously enhance your skills by learning from senior team members and staying current with industry trends.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain machine learning and GenAI models to solve business problems and enhance user experiences.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Perform end-to-end data science workflows including:
- Data cleaning and preprocessing
- Feature engineering
- Model training, evaluation, and retraining
- Deployment and performance monitoring
- Develop and maintain dashboards for model monitoring and business reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to MLOps pipelines for model sustainment and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, including exposure to GenAI technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and commonly used data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, StatsModels, NLTK).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience with model deployment and lifecycle management in production environments.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices for model retraining and monitoring.
