Job Summary
As an App Security Specialist you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our applications and ensuring robust identity and access management solutions. With your expertise in various identity platforms you will contribute to the security and efficiency of our systems enhancing user experience and protecting sensitive data. Your work will directly impact the companys mission to provide secure and reliable services to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage identity and access management solutions across multiple platforms including Ping One OKTA Google Cloud Identity and Microsoft Entra ID to ensure secure access to applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy security measures that protect sensitive data and enhance user authentication processes.
- Monitor and analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
- Provide technical expertise in AWS SSO AWS Cognito and Auth0 to optimize security protocols and streamline access management.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance and protection.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures and recommend improvements.
- Lead initiatives to integrate Sailpoint IdentityNow and AWS IAM into the companys security framework enhancing identity governance and administration.
- Oversee the implementation of security solutions that support hybrid work models ensuring seamless access and security for remote and onsite employees.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on security best practices and identity management tools.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is embedded in the software development lifecycle enhancing application security from inception.
- Analyze security incidents and breaches to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the companys security posture and capabilities.
- Develop and present security reports and metrics to management highlighting areas of improvement and success in security initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate proficiency in identity and access management solutions such as Ping One OKTA and Google Cloud Identity.
- Possess strong technical skills in Microsoft Entra ID AWS SSO and AWS Cognito to effectively manage security protocols.
- Showcase expertise in Auth0 and Sailpoint IdentityNow for identity governance and administration.
- Have a solid understanding of AWS IAM and its application in securing cloud environments.
- Exhibit experience in conducting security audits and assessments to evaluate and enhance security measures.
- Display ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices in application security and identity management.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) AWS Certified Security Specialty OKTA Certified Professional
