Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture
- Architect and deploy Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, and routing configurations in AWS and Azure.
- Implement hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute) for on-premises and cloud integration.
- Develop network diagrams and documentation for cloud network topologies.
- Implementation & Management
- Configure and manage AWS services (VPC, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect) and Azure services (Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, Network Security Groups).
- Implement load balancing, DNS, and firewall policies across multi-cloud environments.
- Optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
- Security & Compliance
- Apply network segmentation, security groups, and firewall rules to enforce zero-trust principles.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (RBAC, MFA, encryption).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Monitor network health using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Execute disaster recovery and failover strategies for critical workloads.
- Automation & DevOps
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, IPSec, MPLS).
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53) and Azure networking (Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, NSG).
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and cloud on-ramps for AWS and Azure.
- Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Advanced Networking Specialty.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.
- Experience
- 4+ years in cloud networking and infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience in designing and managing multi-cloud environments.
- Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
