Job Summary
Join our dynamic investment banking team as a Specialist with expertise in trade validation and brokerage fee management. You will leverage your skills in MS Excel to ensure accurate reconciliation and validation of brokerage fee processes along with broker management. This work-from-home position offers a UK hour shift schedule allowing you to balance professional and personal commitments effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate trades to ensure compliance with industry standards and brokerage fee regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline brokerage invoices management processes
- Utilize MS Excel to manage reconciliations brokerage fee calculation validation and detailed reports for tracking brokerage fee payables to brokers
- Monitor and reconcile OTC broker fees payable and manage brokers for their queries and maintain financial accuracy
- Implement strategies to optimize billing procedures and enhance operational efficiency
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving trade validation workflows
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to fee structures and billing practices
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of fees billing and commissions in investment banking
- Support the team in resolving discrepancies and issues related to trade validation and fee management
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and data entries
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions for fee-related challenges
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in trade validation and fee management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the investment banking domain
Qualifications
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Possess strong knowledge of trade validation processes and practices
- Exhibit expertise in managing OTC broker fees payable
- Have experience in billing and commission processes within OTC brokerage fee processing
- Show ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity
- Display excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Bring a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Hold a bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking or a similar role
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address fee-related challenges effectively
- Possess familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards
- Show adaptability to changing processes and technologies in the banking sector
- Exhibit a proactive attitude towards process improvement and innovation.
Certifications Required
Preferably Microsoft Excel Certification
