SAP PAPM Cloud Technical Developer
Experience: 8+ years overall SAP experience with strong hands-on PAPM Cloud exposure
Job Summary
We are seeking a SAP PAPM Cloud Technical Developer with proven hands-on experience in building and supporting SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) Cloud solutions. The role is heavily technical and focuses on PAPM allocations, security configuration, transport management, and system interfaces, along with close integration with SAP HANA.
Key Responsibilities
SAP PAPM Cloud – Technical Development
- Develop and maintain SAP PAPM Cloud models including:
- Environments, Models, Versions, and Processes
- Complex allocation cycles (cost, revenue, and statistical allocations)
- Configure and optimize PAPM functions for high-volume data processing
- Debug and resolve PAPM calculation and execution issues
- Monitor and improve PAPM model performance and runtime efficiency
- Design and implement multi-step allocation logic using PAPM allocation functions
- Validate allocation results and ensure reconciliation with source systems
- Optimize allocation models for accuracy and performance
Security & Authorizations
- Configure and manage role-based security (RBAC) in SAP PAPM Cloud
- Assign users, roles, and authorizations for:
- Model access
- Data visibility
- Execution and administration rights
- Manage PAPM Cloud transports across DEV, QA, and PROD environments
- Handle transport creation, dependencies, and issue resolution
- Support release management and version control for PAPM artifacts
- Coordinate deployments and post-transport validations
- Design and support interfaces between source systems and PAPM/HANA
- Work with:
- SAP HANA tables and views
- SAP DataSphere
- SLT, SDI, or file-based interfaces (as applicable)
- Ensure reliable data load, validation, and reconciliation
- Troubleshoot interface and data flow issues
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory
- SAP PAPM Cloud – Strong hands-on technical experience
- Hands-on experience with allocations in PAPM
- PAPM security and role configuration
- PAPM transport and deployment management
- Strong SAP HANA & SAP DS knowledge
