Job Summary

As a Lead Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. With a focus on automation and efficiency you will leverage your expertise in tools like GitHub Copilot RestAssured SoapUI Cucumber Java and Selenium to drive testing excellence. Your contributions will directly impact our core commerce domain enhancing user experiences and supporting our companys growth.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle effectively.
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot to enhance code quality and maintain consistency across test scripts.
  • Execute API testing using RestAssured and SoapUI to validate backend services and ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Lead efforts to identify document and track software defects ensuring timely resolution.
  • Mentor junior team members sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new testing methodologies as appropriate.
  • Work closely with developers to understand system architecture and design effective test cases.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements throughout the testing process.
  • Drive initiatives to improve testing efficiency and reduce time-to-market for software releases.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of user experiences by ensuring high-quality software delivery.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in GitHub Copilot RestAssured SoapUI Cucumber Java and Selenium.
  • Demonstrate experience in the core commerce domain enhancing testing strategies with domain-specific insights.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving defects.
  • Show proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
  • Have a solid understanding of software development processes and testing methodologies.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Be adaptable to a hybrid work model ensuring productivity in both remote and in-office settings.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and implementing new testing tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members in best testing practices.
