Cognizant’s Application Development Delivery practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Java Engineer(Onsite) with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer where you will leverage your expertise in Angular JS AWS SQL Spring Boot Java and JavaScript to drive innovative solutions. With a hybrid work model and day shifts you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our software products ensuring high performance and scalability. Your contributions will directly impact our companys growth and societal advancements.


Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Angular JS Java and Spring Boot to meet business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement scalable solutions on AWS.

Utilize SQL for database management and ensure data integrity and performance optimization.

Implement best practices in software development to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless application performance.

Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

Ensure software solutions are secure scalable and aligned with business objectives.

Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges.

Document software designs technical specifications and user guides for future reference.


Qualifications

Possess a strong proficiency in Angular JS Java and Spring Boot with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Demonstrate expertise in AWS cloud services and SQL database management.

Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Showcase strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Have a keen interest in staying updated with the latest technological advancements in software development.

Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new tools and technologies.

Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with relevant industry experience.
