Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Lead with 5 to 7 years of experience in Core Java and PL/SQL with a strong background in Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate will work from our office during day shifts contributing to the development and enhancement of financial applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can drive technical excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust financial applications using Core Java and PL/SQL to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with financial and accounting standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Ensure code quality and performance through rigorous testing and code reviews maintaining high standards of software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless application performance.
- Optimize database queries and PL/SQL scripts to enhance application efficiency and reduce processing time.
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of system changes and enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies integrating them into existing systems to improve functionality.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects meeting all specified requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct training sessions for team members on new technologies and best practices promoting continuous learning and development.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience and system reliability.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions contributing to the development of scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Support the finance and accounting departments by providing technical solutions that streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of Core Java and PL/SQL with proven experience in developing financial applications.
- Demonstrate expertise in finance and accounting domains with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
- Show proficiency in database management and optimization ensuring efficient data processing and storage.
- Display strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain a commitment to continuous learning staying abreast of new technologies and industry developments.
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
