Senior MDM Consultant
About the role
As a Senior MDM Consultant, you will make an impact by leading the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise Master Data Management solutions for our clients. You will be a valued member of our Data & Integration practice and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, offshore delivery teams, and cross-functional technology teams to ensure high-quality data outcomes.
In this role, you will:
• Design and develop Informatica MDM configurations including Match Rules, Trust settings, Data Model, SIF APIs, and Packages to support enterprise data management needs.
• Lead integration of source systems, manage onboarding activities, and maintain Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) services for data cleansing and validation.
• Build and maintain AWS-based MDM infrastructure including DynamoDB caching and real-time data sync to Snowflake/EDF, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Monitor platform health using Dynatrace, Kibana/ELK, and XMatters; support batch scheduling via Tivoli and participate in 24x7 on-call incident response.
• Act as the onsite single point of contact (SPOC), coordinating with offshore teams for delivery and engaging directly with client stakeholders on requirements and solution reviews.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Des Moines, Iowa.

What you need to have to be considered
• Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (Multi-Domain, On-Prem on JBoss), IDMC, PowerCenter, and IDQ.
• Proven ability to design and develop MDM services including inbound APIs, outbound events, and MQ-based message flows.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, integration services) and building real-time data synchronization pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (GitHub), automated testing frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, JMeter), and monitoring platforms (Dynatrace, Kibana/ELK).
• Strong communication skills with experience working directly with client stakeholders and coordinating across onsite/offshore delivery models.
These will help you stand out
• Experience supporting Golden Record management, data lineage tracking, and coexistence strategies for legacy and modern MDM systems.
• Knowledge of Snowflake/EDF integration patterns and enterprise data platform architecture.
• Background in supporting 24x7 production operations and handling critical incidents with a strong sense of urgency.
