About the Role
Cognizant is seeking a Functional Specialist (ISG) with deep expertise in Model N platforms and Oracle technologies to support complex pricing, rebate, and government program operations.
In this role, you will partner with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable Model N configurations, ensuring revenue accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for pricing, rebate, and government programs
- Design and deliver functional solutions leveraging Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Model N data model
- Configure and enhance Model N PbF Regulatory, PbF Validata, and Government Pricing modules
- Optimize validation frameworks to improve data accuracy and compliance
- Analyze datasets to identify pricing discrepancies and chargeback issues
- Develop functional specs and documentation
- Support testing cycles and production validation
- Streamline rebate payment and chargeback processes
- Provide production support and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with government pricing regulations
- Validate integrations and data mappings
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Model N Data Model
- Experience with Model N PbF Regulatory, Validata, Government Pricing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rebate administration, government affairs, chargeback management
- Life sciences/pharma domain experience
- Oracle or Model N certifications
