AWS -DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
Serve as a senior Cloud Architect for a global aviation client designing secure high performing and resilient solutions on AWS that align with the AWS Well Architected Framework and airline industry standards. Collaborate across hybrid teams to modernize applications using AWS DevOps services and containers ensuring reliable delivery of mission critical airline platforms.
Responsibilities
DevOps Engineer - ARN Support - Key Technologies & Platforms
- AWS Cloud Platform ARN environments - Hands-on experience operating and supporting production workloads in AWS including VPC design security group segmentation PCI ECS-based services and overall account hygiene alerts legacy resource cleanup and disaster recovery readiness.
- CI/CD Tooling-Jenkins & GitHub Actions - Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines for Java and Windows/.NET applications using Jenkins and GitHub Actions including branch-based workflows artifact promotion across environments and reduction of manual execution steps.
- Infrastructure as Code AWS CDK / CloudFormation - Proven ability to automate infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation with a focus on repeatability environment consistency and eliminating ClickOps in shared and regulated AWS accounts.
- DevSecOps & Compliance Integration - Experience embedding security and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines including Snyk SonarQube container image scanning ECR approval gates and producing auditable SDLC evidence for PCI-regulated workloads.
- Operational Tooling & Observability - Working knowledge of operational tooling such as CloudWatch and Splunk with responsibility for alert rationalization improving signal to noise and maintaining platform stability and on call readiness.
- Application Platform Enablement & Team Support - Experience supporting application teams adopting standardized DevOps patterns including CI/CD enablement automated testing adoption IaC alignment with Cloud Engineering and strong cross team collaboration.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between 99,000 TO 110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
