Responsibilities : - Design end to end product architectures across Duck Creek Core Rating PolicyCenter Manuscripts and Utilities that align with enterprise standards and support complex insurance workflows for governance risk and compliance and finance outcomes. - Define and refine .Net and XML based service interaction patterns that optimize performance security and maintainability while ensuring seamless interoperability with Duck Creek components and downstream financial systems. - Analyze business requirements from governance risk and compliance and finance stakeholders and translate them into detailed solution designs that balance regulatory needs operational efficiency and long term product scalability. - Collaborate with product managers business analysts and engineering teams to prioritize features and technical enablers that improve underwriting accuracy rating transparency and policy servicing quality for customers. - Establish architecture guidelines for database and SQL schema design indexing strategies and data access patterns that ensure data quality auditability and strong support for reporting and analytics. - Conduct architecture and design reviews for Duck Creek configurations custom components and .Net extensions to ensure adherence to best practices coding standards and nonfunctional requirements. - Drive modernization of legacy policy administration and rating capabilities into Duck Creek based solutions planning phased transitions that minimize disruption and deliver incremental value to business partners. - Provide technical oversight for integration of Duck Creek platforms with external governance risk and compliance tools financial ledgers and reporting engines to create a cohesive and trustworthy data ecosystem. - Mentor engineers and configuration specialists on advanced Duck Creek features .Net design patterns XML modeling and SQL optimization to build a strong internal capability and reduce delivery risk. - Evaluate and recommend reusable utilities frameworks and configuration patterns across Duck Creek and .Net that reduce implementation effort improve consistency and accelerate product releases. - Create comprehensive technical documentation for solution architectures integration contracts data models and configuration approaches to support maintainability and smooth knowledge transfer. - Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed governance risk and compliance controls into architecture decisions ensuring traceability segregation of duties and regulatory alignment. - Partner with operations and support teams to design monitoring logging and observability strategies that improve system reliability enable proactive incident detection and enhance user satisfaction. -Qualifications - Demonstrate extensive experience designing enterprise solutions using Duck Creek Core Rating PolicyCenter Manuscripts and Utilities to support complex insurance products and regulatory needs. - Bring strong hands on background in .Net development including service design and component integration with applied knowledge of XML based configuration and data exchange in large programs. - Apply deep expertise in database and SQL design query tuning and data migration to ensure scalable policy rating and financial data management across multiple environments. - Show proven experience in governance risk and compliance domains including interpretation of regulatory requirements and translation into practical system controls and audit capabilities. - Exhibit strong understanding of finance and accounting processes related to insurance billing premium recognition and financial reporting enabling accurate architectural decisions. - Use solid communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively in a hybrid environment across distributed teams and cross functional groups. 9.
