Job Summary

Consulting Analyst role in a global consulting organization supporting property and casualty insurance clients in a hybrid work model focusing on business analysis solution design and implementation support. The role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to optimize insurance processes enhance customer journeys and deliver data driven insights that align with client strategies and organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing property and casualty insurance processes such as policy administration claims handling and underwriting to identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and accuracy in client engagements.
  • Document detailed business requirements user stories and use cases for insurance transformation initiatives that ensure technology solutions address core business needs for carriers and intermediaries.
  • Collaborate with product owners architects and development teams to translate complex insurance domain requirements into clear solution specifications that can be implemented within agreed timelines and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate and support system configuration functional testing and user acceptance testing activities for policy and claims platforms to validate that delivered solutions align with documented requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of insurance data including loss trends premium performance and operational metrics to generate insights that inform strategic decisions for clients.
  • Prepare client ready presentations process maps and status reports that clearly communicate progress risks and recommended actions for ongoing consulting engagements in the property and casualty domain.
  • Engage with client stakeholders across business and technology functions to gather feedback clarify expectations and ensure alignment on priorities scope and success criteria for each project.
  • Contribute to the design and refinement of target operating models for insurers by assessing current capabilities defining future state processes and proposing practical transition roadmaps.
  • Support change management activities by developing training materials conducting knowledge sessions and helping end users adopt new processes and systems in a smooth and sustainable manner.
  • Apply industry regulations compliance requirements and best practices relevant to property and casualty insurance to ensure that proposed solutions reduce risk and support long term resilience for clients.
  • Work within a hybrid model by effectively balancing remote collaboration and on site client interactions when required to maintain strong relationships and ensure high quality delivery outcomes.
  • Assist in estimating effort planning tasks and tracking progress for project activities ensuring that deliverables for analysis design and testing are completed within agreed schedules and budgets.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development by documenting reusable assets case studies and lessons learned that can strengthen future consulting offerings in the insurance sector.


Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor degree or higher in business finance engineering information systems or a related discipline with a strong focus on analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Bring between five and seven years of professional experience working as a business analyst or consulting analyst within the property and casualty insurance domain.
  • Demonstrate hands on experience with core insurance processes including underwriting policy administration billing and claims along with exposure to common policy and claims platforms.
  • Exhibit strong skills in requirements elicitation process mapping data analysis and documentation using industry standard methods and tools suited for consulting assignments.
  • Showcase familiarity with regulatory frameworks compliance guidelines and reporting practices that are specific to property and casualty insurance markets.
  • Display proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools along with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment that blends remote and office based work.
  • Highlight experience in delivering consulting projects or system implementations where measurable improvements in efficiency customer satisfaction or risk reduction were achieved.
