Oracle Financial Cloud Architect & Delivery Leader

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Oracle Financial Cloud Architect & Delivery Leader who will be responsible for architecture of all Oracle Fusion transformation programs, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of Oracle EPM functional architecture engagements across North America. This leader will serve as the primary escalation point for delivery excellence, ensuring client satisfaction and team performance across multiple engagements.

Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Architecture Leadership: Manage and mentor the team of functional consultants, solution architects, and project managers specializing in Oracle Financials, EPM and Billing Systems. Hands-on leader driving architecture and business design workshops with business teams.

· Design and define end-to-end Oracle EPM functional architectures aligned with enterprise finance strategies and global operating models.

· Client Engagement: Serve as the executive sponsor and trusted advisor for key client relationships across the NA region.

· Collaborate with consulting and IT teams to define solution roadmaps balancing platform capability, regulatory needs, and long-term sustainability.

· Solutioning & Presales: Partner with the sales team on proactive pursuits, proposal responses, effort estimation and solution design for new opportunities.

· Delivery Oversight: Lead and govern all the Oracle Financial/ EPM and billing cloud implementations ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

· Revenue Accountability: Own regional P&L or revenue targets tied to the Oracle ERP, EPM and Billing delivery portfolio.

· Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate delivery risks and issues proactively.

· Practice Development: Contribute to the growth of the practice through asset development, AI enablement, and talent hiring.

· Enablement of New ways of working leveraging AI technologies.

· Lead discussions with product vendor (Oracle) across escalated product issues, collaboration on new releases.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

· 18+ years in Oracle Financials implementations, with at least 10 years in delivery leadership capacity and experience in Oracle EPM solutions within large, complex finance environments.

· Exposure to multi-pillar implementations in Oracle SAAS (e.g., Financials + SCM or HCM).

· Experience managing multi-million-dollar delivery portfolios.

· Modules: Deep expertise SAAS financial modules, Oracle EPM and Oracle Billing.

· Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities within Oracle EPM to enhance reconciliation accuracy and risk management.

· Proven background in IT consulting, delivering enterprise finance transformation programs using Oracle EPM platforms.

· Global Delivery Exposure: Extensive experience in working with global delivery teams

· Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (ERP, EPM Cloud, Billing) for cloud advisory services.

· Methodologies: Proficiency in OUM, AIM, or Agile delivery methodologies.

· Prior experience at a Big 4, SI partner, or Oracle.

· Ability to work effectively in a hybrid delivery model with distributed teams and virtual collaboration.

· Strong executive presence and C-suite communication skills.

· Educational background – CPA or equivalent / Advanced accounting degree.

Preferred Skills/Qualification:

· Exposure to AI-driven reconciliation, predictive analytics, and advanced exception management within Oracle EPM.

· Domain experience in enterprise finance transformation, group consolidation, and financial close optimization.

· Certifications in Oracle Cloud / Methodologies.
