Informatica MDM Administrator/Developer
About the role
As an Informatica MDM Administrator/Developer, you will make an impact by ensuring the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of enterprise Master Data Management platforms. You will be a valued member of the data engineering team and work collaboratively with architecture, development, QA, infrastructure, and database teams to deliver seamless MDM operations and upgrades.
In this role, you will:
· Manage, configure, and maintain Informatica MDM Hub, Process Server, and related components to ensure platform stability.
· Lead MDM upgrade initiatives (major and minor), including planning, execution, validation, and rollback strategies.
· Install and configure new MDM environments across development, QA, UAT, and production landscapes.
· Perform patching, apply hotfixes, and implement security updates to maintain system compliance.
· Troubleshoot system and application issues by analyzing logs, resolving performance bottlenecks, and addressing configuration or deployment challenges.

What you need to have to be considered
· Informatica MDM Certification (Administrator or equivalent).
· 10+ years of hands-on experience administering Informatica MDM Hub.
· Proven experience performing MDM upgrades, migrations, and environment builds.
· Strong Unix/Linux administration skills, including shell scripting.
· Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases supporting MDM platforms.
· Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
These will help you stand out
· Experience with Informatica IDQ, E360, or ActiveVOS.
· Hands-on experience with JBoss installation and configuration.
· Experience leading environment migrations and resolving schema or deployment issues.
· Ability to provide technical guidance and establish best practices for MDM implementations.
· Experience supporting release management, change management, and production support activities.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
