Job Summary
This hybrid developer role focuses on building Pega based enterprise applications that streamline business workflows and improve customer experiences in Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM). The candidate will design configure and optimize case management data integration and reusable framework components within the Pega platform. The role emphasizes quality delivery maintainability and alignment to organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Design robust Pega application components that implement complex business workflows while ensuring clarity maintainability and alignment with enterprise design guidelines
- Develop Pega case types that orchestrate end to end processing steps to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions
- Configure Pega data models that define reusable entities and relationships to support scalable and consistent information management across applications
- Build integrations between Pega and external systems using connectors and services to ensure secure reliable and performant data exchange
- Implement Pega decision rules and declarative logic that enforce business policies while keeping configurations flexible for future enhancements
- Create user interface views and harnesses in Pega that provide intuitive navigation and clear guidance for case workers and business users
- Optimize Pega application performance by tuning rulesets data access patterns and case processing strategies based on usage insights
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed Pega design specifications and refine them through iterative feedback
- Develop unit tests and participate in peer reviews to maintain high standards of code quality rule integrity and compliance with organizational practices
- Support defect analysis and resolution in non production and production environments to maintain stable and reliable Pega solutions
- Document functional designs technical configurations and deployment steps to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and operational continuity for support teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing Pega best practices reusable components and framework enhancements that increase delivery speed and consistency
- Align daily work with the organizations purpose by delivering Pega solutions that simplify digital processes reduce operational risk and create better outcomes for customers and communities
Qualifications
- Demonstrate solid hands on experience in Pega platform development including rules configuration case types flows activities and data transforms
- Apply strong knowledge of Pega frameworks and guardrails to design solutions that are scalable maintainable and compliant with platform recommendations
- Exhibit proficiency in Pega application development lifecycle including requirement analysis design implementation testing and deployment within enterprise environments
- Show practical expertise in Pega data and integration capabilities such as data pages integration connectors and mapping strategies for external systems
- Utilize experience in Pega case management to design stage based processing service levels and routing rules that enhance throughput and case visibility
- Leverage understanding of check processing or similar financial operations domains when available to design solutions that reflect industry specific controls and validation needs
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model by communicating clearly managing tasks independently and collaborating using digital tools
- Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to investigate issues in Pega applications identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes
- Use experience of four to six years in Pega development to mentor peers inform design discussions and ensure practical implementation choices without formal leadership duties
- Exhibit familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance expectations to ensure that Pega solutions protect sensitive data and meet regulatory obligations
- Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities by reconfiguring Pega rules and components while minimizing disruption to existing case processing
- Coordinate constructively with testing and operations teams to validate Pega functionality support deployments and ensure smooth handover into steady state support
- Maintain focus on customer and societal impact by delivering reliable Pega workflows that reduce processing times improve accuracy and support digital transformation goals
