Job Summary

Sr Software Engineer B3 role focuses on designing and building scalable microservices and web applications using Java Spring Boot Angular and Kafka while following modern engineering practices. The engineer will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver secure resilient and maintainable solutions that support critical business processes and improve customer experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support high volume transaction processing and ensure reliable business operations.
  • Develop responsive and accessible front end interfaces using Angular versions two and above with advanced JavaScript to deliver engaging user experiences.
  • Integrate distributed systems using Kafka to enable reliable event driven communication and improve data consistency across services.
  • Create and optimize complex SQL and PL or SQL queries in MySQL to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage for critical application workflows.
  • Write clean modular and well documented code in Core Java and Python to enhance maintainability and improve long term system stability.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts in a hybrid work environment to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing to validate functionality and maintain high quality standards for all deliverables.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to identify defects share knowledge and uphold secure coding and performance best practices.
  • Implement monitoring logging and alerting for microservices and Kafka components to quickly detect issues and reduce service downtime.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents by analyzing logs metrics and data flows to restore normal service and implement preventive fixes.
  • Automate build and deployment pipelines for Java and Angular applications to streamline delivery and reduce manual errors.
  • Document system designs APIs and data models in clear technical artifacts to support onboarding and knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating emerging tools frameworks and standards that can enhance productivity and sustainability.

  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate hands on experience of eight to eleven years working with Java Spring Boot and microservices architectures in complex enterprise environments.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in Angular versions ten and above as well as prior Angular versions with advanced JavaScript for building scalable single page applications.
  • Show practical experience using Kafka for event streaming integration patterns and asynchronous communication between distributed services.
  • Apply deep knowledge of SQL PL or SQL and MySQL to design schemas write stored procedures and optimize queries for performance and reliability.
  • Display solid skills in Core Java and Python with emphasis on object oriented design patterns and reusable components for backend services.
  • Utilize familiarity with hybrid work models to collaborate effectively through virtual tools as well as in person sessions with global stakeholders.
  • Prefer exposure to cloud native development containerization and continuous integration practices that enhance delivery speed and resilience.
