Job Summary
Serve as a Product Test Consultant specializing in Actimize platforms and regulatory compliance solutions applying deep hands on testing expertise to validate complex financial crime and compliance products. Collaborate in a hybrid work model with cross functional teams to ensure robust quality regulatory alignment and operational readiness for global financial clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive comprehensive test planning for Actimize based solutions by defining clear objectives detailed scope entry and exit criteria and risk based prioritization to ensure robust validation across all regulatory compliance workflows.
- Design functional system integration and regression test cases for Actimize configurations that cover end to end scenarios including data ingestion detection logic alert workflows case management and reporting to ensure resilient product behavior.
- Execute manual and tool assisted tests on Actimize environments by validating rules models scenarios and user journeys against documented requirements to identify defects early and reduce production issues.
- Create reusable test data strategies for regulatory compliance scenarios including suspicious activity monitoring transaction screening and sanctions checks to improve coverage and repeatability of test cycles.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts solution architects and developers to clarify requirements and translate complex compliance rules into testable acceptance criteria that minimize ambiguity and rework.
- Review and validate regulatory compliance mappings and configuration changes in Actimize so that system behavior consistently aligns with evolving global and regional regulations and institutional policies.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and production like issues by tracing them through logs configurations and data flows to recommend targeted fixes and long term quality improvements.
- Coordinate defect triage activities with cross functional teams by documenting issues with clear steps evidence impact analysis and priority to accelerate resolution and reduce cycle time.
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices that link requirements design artifacts test cases and defects to provide transparent visibility into coverage and compliance readiness for stakeholders.
- Optimize test execution for hybrid working by using collaboration tools dashboards and status reports that give clear visibility of progress risks and impediments to distributed teams and management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by refining test processes introducing automation where appropriate and sharing best practices that enhance overall product quality and regulatory confidence.
- Engage with operations and support teams to review nonfunctional requirements such as performance reliability and usability to ensure that Actimize solutions remain stable under real world workloads.
- Document clear user focused test findings recommendations and risk summaries that support informed go live decisions and strengthen client trust in the delivered compliance solutions.
Qualifications
- Apply extensive hands on experience in Actimize implementations to design and execute tests that validate complex detection scenarios alert workflows and case management functions for financial institutions.
- Use strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in areas such as anti money laundering fraud detection and conduct surveillance to interpret regulatory obligations into practical test conditions and expected outcomes.
- Leverage minimum ten years of professional testing experience with large scale financial systems to manage ambiguity handle multiple releases and guide teams on quality best practices even without formal leadership responsibilities.
- Utilize familiarity with iRCAS or similar case management and investigation platforms to validate cross product workflows and ensure consistent handling of alerts investigations and regulatory reporting.
- Apply strong skills in test management tools defect tracking platforms and collaborative documentation to maintain accurate artefacts support audits and streamline communication across hybrid teams.
- Demonstrate effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities to explain complex test findings regulatory impacts and residual risks in concise language accessible to technical and business audiences.
- Adapt to a hybrid work model and day shift operations by managing time proactively ensuring reliable participation in virtual ceremonies and supporting distributed colleagues without requiring travel.
Certifications Required
Certified Actimize Professional or equivalent vendor accreditation. Additional preference for regulatory compliance or financial crime certifications such as ACAMS or similar.
