About the role
We are seeking a Technology Architect with deep expertise in Oracle File Based Data Import (FBDI) and Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL) to design scalable integration and data migration solutions for Oracle Cloud ERP. The role involves building secure, high-performance data pipelines and hybrid integration architectures that support enterprise business processes across Finance and HCM domains.
In this role you will
- Design end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP integration solutions leveraging FBDI and HCM Data Loader.
- Architect scalable data migration frameworks for master and transactional data ensuring high data quality and consistency.
- Develop reusable integration patterns and reference architectures across projects.
- Collaborate with functional, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Review solution designs to ensure alignment with architecture standards, performance benchmarks, and security guidelines.
- Optimize large-volume data load processes through configuration tuning and batch strategies.
- Define error handling, reconciliation, and monitoring approaches for data pipelines.
- Create architecture documents, integration diagrams, and data flow models.
- Provide guidance on Oracle ERP adoption strategies, best practices, and implementation roadmaps.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure maintainability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Mentor team members on FBDI and HCM Data Loader best practices.
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliant and secure data transfers.
- Continuously improve integration patterns using insights from production metrics and incidents.
Work Model:
5 days onsite to Atlanta, GA
What you need to have to be considered
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle File Based Data Import (FBDI) across large-scale implementations.
- Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL), including metadata, business objects, and load strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP modules and integration options.
- Proven experience in IT consulting environments managing multiple stakeholders.
- Experience designing data integrations supporting analytics and reporting platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $83,250- $112,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
